Company Drill and Workday: November 7, 2015
This is a chance for us all to get together and polish up on our drill and evolutions on the field so that we can continue to set the bar high within the Florida Battalion of Infantry. This will be a one day event held at the Natural Bridge Battlefield Park and will be modern clothing with civil war equipment. The Officers have volunteered to cook for us and there will be a short workday in the afternoon for those that can stay.
Veteran's Day Parade: November 11, 2015
This a short, yet meaningful, way to show our support for Veteran's of all conflicts. We typically park at the Civic Center then walk to the staging area. The parade is less than 2 miles long and ends back in the Civic Center Parking lot. Let me know if you are attending and we will assign you to the Confederate or Union (we try to keep and even number).
Leon Rifles Christmas Party: December 5, 2015
