16-17  May 2009 - The Battle of Resaca -

 This is a Battalion event and we will be Confederate all weekend.   It is on the original battlefield.  There is a big push to go.   General Jesse will be the Confederate Commander and Col. Bowman will be the Florida Brigade Commander. http://www.georgiadivision.org/bor_reenactment.html

4-6 September 2009 -The 145th anniversary of the final battles of the Atlanta Campaign -

  Talk to the soldiers, visit their camps and take yourself back to 1864 and the conflicts at Nash Farm.  Battles will be held at 10 am and 2pm on Saturday, Sept. 5 and 2pm on Sunday, Sept. 6.  There will also be cavalry demonstrations, sutlers, blacksmithing, music, food and more!  The Battle of Atlanta will be held at Nash Farm Battlefield, 4361 Jonesboro Rd. Hampton, Georgia 30228 September 4-6, 2009 from 8am-5pm.  Admission is $10 for Adults (18+), $5 for children (6-17) and parking costs $3 per vehicle.  Schedule and additional information can be found at http://www.atlantacampaign.com

10-11 October 2009.- Confederate Garrison at Fort Clinch.

Address: 2601 ATLANTIC AVENUE Fernandina Beach FL 32034 Fort Clinch State Park is located at 2601 Atlantic Ave (State Highway A1A) in Fernandina Beach, FL. From Interstate 95, exit at Exit 373 (Callahan/ Fernandina) and proceed east about 15 miles on Highway A1A. Turn right on Atlantic Avenue. The park entrance is about 2 miles ahead on the left.

20, 21, 22 November , 2009.  The Suwannee River Raid. 

Live Oak, Florida.  Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park.  Maximum Effort Hardee Corps Event.  Usual amenities, plus RV hook-ups and cabin rentals.  General store, restaurant, and showers on site.  Battlefield clear of modern intrusions. Original Confederate earthworks nearby.

  Directions:  From I-10, take exit #283 and go north on US 129 for 4.5 miles.  From I-75, take exit #451 and go south for 4.5 miles.  Look for the signs - "Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park".  The park is located between I-10 and I-75.  The park's address is 3076 95th Drive, Live Oak, Florida 32060.  More information will follow.
